Being practical is not so practical. If you take a short-term approach to life, dreaming big and pursuing greatness can appear foolish or impractical. However, when you have a long-term perspective, playing it safe and responsible turns out to be irrational.
You have one life to live. Live it! Don't allow others fears to influence how you live yours. When someone is in their last moments of life, they do not sit there and reminisce about how glad they are they were cautious and didn't take risks. No one says, "Man, I'm glad I didn't go out there and achieve my full potential."
There is greatness within you
You possess the same power inside of you as any individual who has achieved the greatest things in this world. You are not less talented, intelligent, or creative as any of these people. Believe it! If you study their lives, you will see so.
You cannot dream big enough. Don't' limit yourself as a result of fear, shame, and doubt. Find those who will be encouraging of your dreams and inspire even more from you. There is a whole community of like-minded people all over the Internet who will support you in droves. This is the most encouraging time in history to pursue your dreams.
When you face the reality of your death, you will see that dreaming big and going for it is actually the most practical and realistic approach you can take. You have a gift the world needs. Unlock it and send it out. We're all waiting and cheering you on. Now go and DREAM BIG.
